Perhaps you can’t come on our public tour dates…..  perhaps you want the privilege of going to Longbourn on your own? Maybe a loved one has a special birthday, anniversary or celebration….

Whatever you want – we will take you there!

Our private tour service includes items from any of our main tours, it can include flights, accommodation, a carriage ride - nothing is impossible on our bespoke service.

You can have a personal 4 day P&P tour exactly like the itinerary shown on our itinerary page, or select any places from it. Or you can come to all the fabulous real life locations used in Downton Abbey. Prices start from £95 per day per person for up to 3 people, and include your personal guide, entrance fees and travel between the locations, plus some extras.

Here are some ideas to capture your imagination;

  • Have supper in the real Dowager Countess of Grantham’s home from Downton Abbey
  • Supper at Hunsford Parsonage in the room where Darcy first proposes to Lizzie (Colin Firth)
  • A champagne picnic at Pemberley
  • A day of your own at Longbourn with Hill in attendance in costume

Sample itineraris;

Full Day – Pemberley and the Peaks

A full day trip to Pemberley exterior, Darcy’s pond! Pemberley interior, Lizzie’s Peak District and the village of Lambton. Your personal tour guide is P&P Tour owner and BBC expert Helen Porter who will share anecdotes from filming and about the cast. Includes lunch in the hotel stayed in by Jane Austen, OR at Pemberley, as well as morning coffee and afternoon tea.

Longbourn Day 

Morning the village of Meryton, with coffee in the private hideaway where Colin Firth escaped during filming.

Then on to Longbourn with Hill in attendance in costume. This day involves private hire of Longbourn especially for you and full English afternoon tea. Dancing at Longbourn to the dances used in P&P! Luxury hotel overnight if required.

Day at Hunsford

Visit Rosings, the home of Lady Catherine, then on to Hunsford Parsonage where you have afternoon tea and a full tour including the room where Darcy first proposed.  Supper in the dining room and overnight in Hunsford in Lizzie’s actual bedroom.
