Princess Diana Tour
For all those around the world who have followed Shy Di since she emerged on the world stage in 1980, until she became Princess Diana, the Queen of People’s hearts, this Princess Diana tour is a must. The P&P Tours Princess Diana Tour is another world exclusive and is part of our collection of Royal Tours.
In three very special days we visit London, Althrop, Sandringham and many other unique and special locations. As the highlight of our Diana Tour we spend the evening with Paul Burrell who knew Diana better than anyone.
With Paul Burrell, Diana’s ‘Rock’
Our VIP evening with Paul gives you a chance to ask the questions and share memories of the world’s most famous and beautiful woman, and mother to Prince William and Prince Harry.
Here are some of the places we visit with you, we begin in London where we have coffee at Diana’s favourite spot in London, see the memorial fountain in Hyde Park…
A young Diana when she first captured the public imagination
…St Pauls Cathedral where Diana married Prince Charles in 1981, visit Harrods and the Diana and Dodi Fayed memorial, see a display of Diana’s dresses in her London home at Kensington Palace, see Diana’s favourite store where fortunes were turned around after young Princess Di began to buy her clothes there, and we dine in the prestigious London restaurant which Diana visited with her girlfriends.
We take a step back in time to visit the nursery where Diana worked before her engagement, see her London apartment (her home from 1979 to 1981) where she was photographed in her mini car, stop at Clarence House where she stayed with the Queen Mother (see more on our Royal Tour), and Westminster Abbey – the setting for her funeral. We then follow the route of her final journey to her resting place at Althrop.
There may be an option to visit Highgrove gardens at the house which Charles bought to be their home as newlyweds.
We have a whole day at the royal estate at Sandringham where Diana first met Charles and Prince Andrew as boys, and see Park House Sandringham where Diana grew up as the girl next door. We also go into Sandringham church where Diana was baptised.
And no Prince Diana Tour would be complete without an extended visit to her family seat at Althrop with its memorial temple by the island which forms her final resting place.
